Terms of use and conditions of the offer
This site is for information purposes only. The presentation of a technology does not constitute a contractual offer, a binding proposal or a promise to contract, and creates no right of preference, reservation or exclusivity in favor of those who express interest.
Expression of interest
The contact form and e-mail are meant to start the technical and commercial dialogue. An expression of interest does not open an administrative contracting procedure, does not oblige the Brazilian Navy to negotiate and does not ensure priority over other interested parties. Negotiations follow the institution's innovation policy and depend on the consent of co-owning institutions, where applicable.
Exclusivity
Non-exclusive licenses may be contracted directly. Exclusive licenses are preceded by the publication of a technology offer notice on the institution's official website, open to expressions of interest from other parties, under Law No. 10,973/2004, art. 6 (Legal Framework for Science, Technology and Innovation), and Decree No. 9,283/2018. No contact made through this site replaces that procedure or anticipates its outcome.
Technical information
The published profiles are dissemination summaries, prepared from public intellectual property documents and open sources. They do not replace the official documents filed at INPI, which prevail in case of divergence, and may be corrected or updated at any time. Undisclosed technical details are handled only under a non-disclosure agreement, during the technical assessment stage.
Content, trademarks and links
The content of this site is unclassified and owned by the Federal Government of Brazil, through the Navy Command, except for third-party materials identified in the credits. The names and acronyms of co-owning institutions are cited to identify the ownership of the registrations and do not imply use of their trademarks. External addresses are provided for the user's convenience, and their content is the responsibility of their respective maintainers.
Availability and governing law
The service is provided as is, with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability. These conditions are governed by Brazilian law. Questions and requests about these terms should be sent to dgdntm.nit@marinha.mil.br.
Privacy and data protection
This site was built not to process personal data (Law No. 13,709/2018, the Brazilian General Data Protection Law, LGPD).
- It uses no cookies, trackers, audience analytics tools or third-party pixels.
- It does not collect or store personal data: there is no registration, login or visitor database.
- It serves all resources (fonts, videos, images and scripts) from its own files, with no requests to third-party servers. No browsing data is handed over to other companies.
- The only exception depends on a request from the visitor: when the Libras (Brazilian Sign Language) translator is activated through the "Libras" button of the Portuguese version, the page loads VLibras, a Federal Government service, from vlibras.gov.br, which then receives the IP address of the access. The choice lasts until the tab is closed and is stored only in the visitor's own browser.
- The expression of interest form transmits nothing over the internet: it only opens the user's own e-mail application, with the text already filled in, and the user decides whether to send it.
- Technical access logs (IP address, date and time, browser user agent) are generated by the hosting infrastructure and processed solely for the operation and security of the service, under art. 15 of Law No. 12,965/2014 (Brazilian Internet Civil Framework).
Data subject rights. Requests concerning personal data at the Brazilian Navy are received through the official channels (in Portuguese):
Access to information
Requests for access to public information of the Brazilian Navy follow Law No. 12,527/2011 and Decree No. 7,724/2012, and must be filed through Fala.BR.
- Access to Information Portal
- marinha.mil.br, the Brazilian Navy's institutional portal
- DGDNTM, the unit responsible for this site
All content published here is unclassified. Information protected by secrecy, including technical details of intellectual property applications not yet disclosed, is not handled in this environment.
Accessibility
The site adopts accessibility practices guided by the Brazilian e-Government Accessibility Model (eMAG) and by WCAG 2.2, level AA, in compliance with art. 63 of Law No. 13,146/2015 (Brazilian Inclusion Law):
- Full keyboard navigation, with a skip link straight to the content.
- Semantic structure of headings, page landmarks and alternative text for images.
- High contrast between text and background, and typography that can be resized without loss of content.
- Animations and videos paused automatically for users who set reduced motion or data saving on their device.
- Translation into Brazilian Sign Language (Libras) through VLibras, activated by the "Libras" button on the top bar of the Portuguese version.
- A profile for each technology prepared for printing on light paper.
- An English version of the pages, for foreign companies; in case of divergence, the Portuguese version prevails.
Access barriers can be reported to dgdntm.nit@marinha.mil.br or through Fala.BR.
