Where the
technologies come from
Naval research is carried out by 18 Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) institutions recognized within the Brazilian Navy (Ordinance No. 237/EMA/2026), under the coordination of DGDNTM. They are the institutes, centers and laboratories where the portfolio technologies come from.
The technology count reflects the ownership stated in the portfolio profiles. Other Navy military organizations that hold intellectual property are identified in the corresponding profiles.
