Conexão Marinha

Operating since July 2026 at the Navy Technology Center in Rio de Janeiro (CTMRJ), the Brazilian Navy Strategic Innovation Center was created to connect expertise, speed up the development of solutions and turn research results into applications of interest to the Navy. The Center works on identifying technology demands, structuring innovation projects, assessing technology readiness and building strategic partnerships, with a focus on artificial intelligence.

For startups

Conexão Marinha program

Support for startups developing technology solutions for the defense sector, through mentoring, pre-incubation and incubation of projects at different levels of technology readiness.

For companies

Calls for established technologies

Dedicated selection processes for companies that already have ready products or technologies to meet the needs of the Naval Force. Proposals go through assessment stages before any adoption by the institution. The first call, Serviço Ativo No. 1/2026, accepts proposals until February 28, 2027.
